Nike Air Max 1 SP Concepts Denim Olive Canvas is a reinterpretation of the classic Air Max 1 silhouette created in collaboration with the Concepts boutique, featuring a mix of materials and inspiration drawn from the aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s. The design retains the model’s signature silhouette but has been enhanced with unconventional panels and details that significantly alter the overall look.The color scheme is based on shades of olive green, complemented by elements in tones of beige, red, and blue. Instead of a uniform palette, a combination of different patterns and textures was used to create a patchwork effect. Denim sections, bandana-print elements, and accents inspired by vintage patterns are visible. The design does not rely on color contrasts, but rather on the diversity of materials and their finishes.The upper is made from a combination of denim, ripstop canvas, velour, and additional fabrics with varying textures. Denim covers parts of the side and front panels, while olive-colored canvas appears in the mudguard area and provides structural stability. Additional materials, such as velour and printed textile elements, introduce further visual layers and influence the perceived texture of the entire upper.The midsole features a classic Air unit positioned at the rear, which provides cushioning and shock absorption. The foam construction is complemented by a speckled finish that echoes the overall design aesthetic. The rubber outsole ensures traction and stability, maintaining the standard layout of the Air Max 1 model.The design stands out with details characteristic of this collaboration, including a multicolored Swoosh and references to the aesthetics of 1970s subcultures, known as “flower power.” The use of multiple materials and patterns creates a complex composition that evolves the classic Air Max 1 construction through a clear departure from a monochromatic finish.
