SB Dunk Low Pro Bluetile Skateboards

The Nike SB Dunk Low x Bluetile Pitch Blue and Black was created through a collaboration between Nike SB and South Carolina-based skate shop Bluetile Skateboards. The design builds on the classic Dunk SB silhouette, but this version places greater emphasis on storytelling, details, and references to the local skateboarding scene. The colorway is inspired by the monarch butterfly found in the southern regions of the United States, a theme reflected in both the design details and the elements inside the shoe.The color scheme is based on a combination of a deep shade of Pitch Blue with black and orange accents inspired by the wings of the monarch butterfly. The dark base covers most of the upper’s surface, while the lighter blue elements break up the design’s more austere character and highlight the model’s side lines. Orange details appear sparingly on the branding and trim, allowing the design to maintain a more technical and contrasting look without being overly cluttered with colors.The upper is made of leather combined with textile elements characteristic of Nike SB models. The South Carolina state flag is placed beneath the branding on the tongue, and the Nike SB elements are complemented by additional graphics created specifically for this collaboration. The Pitch Blue and Black version retains the classic Dunk SB form while expanding upon it with a more narrative-driven and elaborate visual design.
