The design is based on the Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite FG silhouette, created with dynamic play and maximum acceleration in mind, while also bringing the distinctive Waves motif - known from Patta’s previous collaborations with Nike Air Max - to technical soccer cleats.The color scheme combines chrome silver, black, and white. The metallic finish on the upper reflects light and alters the surface’s appearance depending on the angle, giving the silhouette a more futuristic look than classic Mercurial versions. Black elements around the wavy mudguard reinforce the design’s dynamic lines, while white accents on the Swoosh logo and sole visually unify the whole. Unlike the Noise Aqua version, this design relies more on the contrast of materials and reflections than on bold color.The upper is made from a combination of Gripknit, Flyknit, and AtomKnit technologies, creating a lightweight and thin construction that conforms to the foot.
